In the summer of 2022, Betongpark completed a sensitive refurbishment to one of the UK´s most prestigious skateparks, that was first built in 1978 by legendary skatepark builder Lorne Edwards.

One of the most technically challenging projects carried out by Betongpark to date, we used a´Stanton Red´pigment to take the park back to its red colour of yesteryear.  

Split into three distinct areas, the construction process involved a mixture of techniques depending on the concrete quality. Concrete was poured directly over the existing slab in some areas, while other sections were completely broken out and replaced. More recent areas of the park were polished and repaired to give a smooth finish and seamless integration onto the new slab.
