Jedburgh
scotish borders
Jedburgh, located in the Scottish Borders, is now home to a street inspired plaza skatepark, complete with an array of timeless skatepark elements.
The small, but perfectly formed park, includes a quarterpipe, flat bank, flat bar rail, ledge manny pad and rainbow rail, topped off with the feature flat bank hip sprouting out from the eastern side. Pigmented concrete has been used on choice elements in the skatepark design, with striking black steelwork cutting and contrasting against the grey floor slab.
Jedburgh skatepark is sympathetically nestled into a naturally beautiful site with undulating topography, and adjacent to Jed Water, the river that runs though the town. The skatepark has been designed to connect to the adjacent asphalt pump track, designed by Velosolutions, resulting in an overall facility that caters for all types of wheeled sports users.
