BURGHFIELD

Burghfield skatepark is a transition centred design, which gives riders the experience of flow and speed. The skatepark can be rode in a number of ways, with back-and-forth, whole park and mini ramp lines integrated.

A mini ramp was a key point of the user groups wishes during consultation, so this formed a zone around which other elements have been connected. The central volcano links up the mini ramp, pump bump, and faces the deep end of the park, where a pool pocket and Hewitt bank are located. The pool corner has feature CLINKER concrete coping blocks which give riders that something special to grind as they blast around the park. Hips either side of the pool corner help to link up lines to the rest of the skatepark.

Burghfield also features signature Betongpark pigmented concrete throughout, which helps the skatepark to blend into the surrounding landscape more sympathetically and creates a unique aesthetic.
