In summer 2024, Betongpark worked with Adidas to create a temporary street plaza in the heart of Manchester, which was home to skate jams, workshops, music and events.

The design of the temporary plaza focusses on simple street inspired elements such as ledges, steps, a pier-7 manny pad and feature Adidas branded obstacles. An elevated floor slab was created to place a number of these elements on, which drops down into the under cover Aviva Studios building. The under cover ground floor area of the building homes an additional kicker and ledge, which can be skated when wet outside.
